Quý vị lãnh đạo tinh thần các tôn giáo; Quý vị đại diện các hội đoàn và đoàn thể; Giới truyền thông và báo chí, cùng toàn thể quý đồng hương.
Ban Chấp Hành xin chân thành cảm ơn sự kiên nhẫn và quan tâm của quý vị đối với vụ việc liên quan đến việc khởi kiện Cộng Đồng.
Đại diện Ban Chấp Hành Cộng Đồng Người Việt Tự Do NSW đã tham dự buổi hòa giải ngoài tòa vào lúc 10 giờ sáng ngày 21 tháng 10 năm 2026 tại Sydney. Tuy nhiên, rất tiếc là cuộc hòa giải đã không đạt được kết quả như mong muốn. Sau đó, chúng tôi đã gửi một văn bản Đề Nghị Dàn Xếp (Offer of Compromise) theo thủ tục của tòa trước khi vụ việc được đưa ra xét xử.
Theo lịch trình của Tòa án, vào thứ Hai, ngày 26 tháng 10 năm 2026, sẽ diễn ra phiên tòa sơ khởi để định hướng tiến trình xét xử (directions hearing). Chúng tôi sẽ tiếp tục cập nhật và thông báo đến quý đồng hương về những diễn biến tiếp theo của vụ kiện.
Với tinh thần phục vụ cộng đồng và cùng nhau xây dựng một cộng đồng vững mạnh cho các thế hệ tương lai, Ban Chấp Hành trân trọng thông báo và kính mong quý đồng hương quan tâm, theo dõi.

Update on the Current Community Situation

Dear:
Respected Spiritual Leaders of all Religions; Representatives of Associations and Community Organizations; Members of the Media and Press; and all Fellow Community Members.
The Executive Committee sincerely thanks you for your patience and ongoing interest regarding the legal proceedings involving the Community.
Representatives of the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Community in Australia (NSW Chapter) attended a court-ordered mediation session in Sydney at 10:00 AM on 21 October 2026. Unfortunately, the mediation did not result in a resolution acceptable to the parties. Following the mediation, we submitted an Offer of Compromise in accordance with court procedures prior to the matter proceeding to trial.
According to the Court’s schedule, a directions hearing will be held on Monday, 26 October 2026, to determine the next steps in the litigation process. We will continue to keep the community informed and provide updates on any significant developments in the proceedings.
In the spirit of serving the community and working together to build a strong and enduring community for future generations, the Executive Committee respectfully provides this update and encourages all community members to remain engaged and informed.
